Model MFS9.8 Four Stroke Power Tilt
Tohatsu announce the launch of its new 9.8 hp Power Tilt model. The new engine will be on display at the Sydney International Boat Show, along with Tohatsu’s full line.
This lightweight, yet powerful compact is one of the lightest models in the 9.8 hp class. Its power tilt and transom bracket allow for convenience and a greater operating experience, making the 9.8 Power Tilt the ideal choice for sailors and boaters.
The new four-stroke, two-cylinder engine is available on electric start forward control units at this stage .
Tohatsu’s 9.8 horsepower with the new added Power Tilt feature, is sure to cause waves
in the industry as well as out on the water.
Model MFS15C and MFS20C
To be introduced from June 2008 both units will be available in tiller or forward steer in manual and electric start.
Options include power tilt and trim and units will be available in 15"(short) and 20"(long) shaft length. A 25" shaft ultralong kit will also be available.
Model MFS6BSUL (Sail)
To be introduced August 2008 this model is geared towards the sailing market.
Model will feature a 25" shaft and high thrust propeller, alternator and charge kit for battery.
Avaliable in manual start only.
