Please find attached new dealer enquiry forms for completion and return. However prior to submission please consider the following estimate of costs and parameters which may apply to setting up a successful Tohatsu Dealership:

Showroom / Workshop

Applicant shall have a suitable premises to professionally display, market and service products.

Qualifications

Qualified Marine Mechanic / Technician and sales staff.                 

Advertising / Promotion

Showroom shall be set up to allow a professional  display of products support material.

Dealer will be supplied with marketing and promotional material as as required.

Please note that dealer should allow a capital cost of around $3000 ( plus ) for external signage, Diagnostic Programs and a margin in annual budget for advertising.

Capital Expenditure

Estimate of initial capital expenditure on stock of Outboard Motors , Parts and Promotional Items is subject to site location.

The following is an estimate of commitments : 

Metropolitan : 10  Outboards  allow approximately $20,000 (may be less)
Spare parts / Apparel $3,000
Non-Metro5 Outboards   allow approximately $10,000 (may be less)
Spares / Apparel  $1,500

In addition to above dealers may have to allow for the following additional costs :

Special Tools / Manuals  $2,000
